In addition to our delicious takeaway woodfired pizza (and gelato!), we can accomodate bookings of up to 10 people! For tables of 6 and over we have a set menu for $38/head. It includes: garlic bread, pizza, salad and dessert (wine/beer/fizzies extra).

We have two sittings as we're a small restaurant and to accomodate as many customers as possible : [5:30pm - 7:30pm] and [7:30pm - 9:30pm] - we ask that you promptly settle your bill at the end of your session so that we can clean and welcome our next guests!

The Story

Signor Vertelli's is a beloved shop located in Armidale, NSW, that takes pride in using high-quality ingredients to create delicious and authentic pizza. Our founder, who hails from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, has always had a passion for great food and has worked hard to develop a unique and delicious pizza recipe.

One of the things that sets our pizza apart is the slow-fermented dough that we make using a blend of organic wholegrain flours from Wholegrain Milling in Gunnedah. This flour is carefully milled to ensure maximum nutrition and flavour, and the slow fermentation process allows the dough to develop a complex, delicious flavour that our customers love.

We also use a traditional wood-fired oven that's been in the shop since day one. It's an impressive piece of equipment and is responsible for giving our pizza that perfect crispy crust and smoky flavour that customers can't get enough of.

Our toppings are equally impressive, with a range of fresh vegetables, organic free-range small goods from Quattro Stelle in Sydney, and sauce made lovingly by hand using the best Italian tomatoes (Strianese!). Each pizza is carefully crafted to ensure the perfect balance of flavours, with just the right amount of cheese and sauce.

Despite the traditional approach, Signor Vertelli's has a modern and stylish atmosphere. We take pride in providing a welcoming space for our customers to enjoy their meals, whether they choose to dine in or take their pizza to go.
